The Last Lesson
Held at the Armen Hakhnazarian Hall of the Research on Armenian Architecture Foundation
Yerevan, Armenia – May 23, 2025 — In alignment with the Ministry of Education’s declaration of the 2024–2025 academic year as the Year of Cultural Education, Yerevan High School No. 65 hosted a culturally significant “Last Lesson” event at the Armen Hakhnazarian Hall of the RAA Foundation.
This initiative was organized under the patronage of Leo School of Yerevan and led by the educators of the school’s “Art and Architectural Design” stream. In partnership with the RAA Foundation, the event was dedicated to the life, legacy, and contributions of Armen Hakhnazarian, founder of the RAA, and prominent monumentologist Samvel Karapetyan.
The event served not only as a symbolic closing to the academic year but also as an opportunity to deepen students’ appreciation for Armenia’s architectural heritage and the individuals who have worked tirelessly to preserve it.
This collaboration reflects a growing commitment within the educational community to integrate cultural awareness and historical preservation into the learning experience, in accordance with national educational priorities.
